To a great extent, the 906E and 908E are completely identical machines with a strong state of the art Cummins QSB 4.5 stage 3b engine and a rubber-suspended cabin. The rubber-suspension reduce vibration which contributes to a comfortable and productive working environment throughout a long working day. As standard models the machines construction and specifications are identical except for the technology used for the excavator arm.

On the 908E the excavator arm is centre-mounted, giving a digging range of 200°. One of the advantages of a center-mounted excavator arm is to obtain a higher lifting capacity. The centre-mounted excavator arm on our 908E gives you a lifting capacity of 1.700 kg and an excavating depth up to 5,39 m

The machine is built on a heavy-duty chassis made of high-strength steel. This makes it extremely durable. At the front is a loader with dozer features, at the rear a powerful and precise excavator.This combination makes for a versatile and efficient machine, whether you are working on a construction site, on road construction, with services or other excavation work.

With a loading capacity of as much as 250 m3 per hour Hydrema’s combination machine easily matches the breakout force, loading force and work rate of a pure 10 tonnes loader. - It is powerful, fast and hard-working!

With a digging range up to 280° the 900E-series's excavator covers the largest digging area on the market. You will never be parked the wrong way when you use the dipper... If you are parked in a slightly odd angle, you can still work efficently without having to manoeuvre the entire machine.

The articulated pivot steer chassis and hydraulic stabilisers automatically transfer weight to the wheels that are in contact with the ground. The result is excellent manoeuvrability; a smooth, safe and effortless drive across uneven or muddy terrain. Furthermore the front and rear wheels always run in the same track, protecting the ground as much as possible.

You can drive and steer the machine even with your back to the steering wheel. All functions can be controlled by switching on Hydrema’s unique double command (ESD) system on the joysticks, whether the you are facing the loader or excavator. This enables continuous work, without any interruptions in the workflow. You can adjust the joysticks’ responsiveness as needed. Soft start or quick response.
