Endurance Organization Running Strong for 10 Years - Over $900K Donated to PA Wounded Warriors

Oct. 12 2023 Announcements By Best Line Equipment

On September 30, 2023, the Endurance Organization, founded by Best Line Equipment and McCrossin, marked a decade of goodwill with its 10th Annual Clay Shoot, an event deeply rooted in its mission to support our veterans through the PA Wounded Warriors organization. This year, their fundraising efforts raised over $112,000 in contributions. This achievement is part of a larger legacy, with a remarkable sum totaling $909,691 over the past ten years. What sets the PA Wounded Warriors apart is its unwavering commitment to ensuring that nearly every dollar, a staggering 96 cents, directly benefits veterans in need across Pennsylvania. This dedication showcases their genuine passion for the cause.

"2023 was a special year for Endurance Organization as it was our 10th anniversary," said Adam Houseknecht, President, and CEO of Best Line Equipment. “Even better, we have employees and vendors that have been a part of every year for the past ten years. Endurance has grown to be one of the largest single donors to the Pennsylvania Wounded Warriors organization, and similarly, both 501(c)(3) organizations comprise an all-volunteer board. Neither organization could do without their volunteers. I want to thank all sponsors who made it possible to raise the $112,000 this year, especially Best Line's sponsors that we work with daily in a business capacity to serve our customers. Without them, we couldn't succeed in business or philanthropic efforts."

“In 2013, Pennsylvania Wounded Warriors Inc. was approached by some highly motivated and passionate patriots from the heart of the State with an offer of help,” said Frank Sajer, a retired Army Lieutenant Colonel, and Board Member. ”While we knew the reputations of both Best Line Equipment and McCrossin, we had no idea of the positive impact these organizations would make by providing their leadership and unwavering support of our mission. Looking back, with ten years of personal dedication from their team, their employees, and the help of their sponsors, Pennsylvania Wounded Warriors, Inc. has provided immediate assistance to over 16,000 of our honorable veterans. Our motto is “No Warrior without Help,” and the Endurance Organization has allowed us not to falter in our pursuit of that critical task.”

"At McCrossin, the core belief in giving back to the community runs deep," said Joe Leahey, Vice President of McCrossin. "The 2023 Endurance event exemplified the spirit of benevolence, with employees from all corners of the organization rallying together to make a substantial difference in the lives of Pennsylvania's wounded veterans. Their involvement ranged from volunteering their time and expertise to crafting handmade prizes that added a special touch to the event."

This year's clay shoot was a vibrant gathering, with 204 shooters and 42 competitive teams participating. The event resonated with unity and purpose as attendees enjoyed the clay shoot and partook in various raffles and giveaways. These additional activities helped raise funds for veterans, highlighting the heartwarming spirit of generosity and community that defines the Endurance Organization. Year after year, they prove that supporting our veterans is a cause worth celebrating, and their impact on the lives of those who have served our country is immeasurable.
